Start with measurements, not assumptions

Request counts alone cannot predict bandwidth. A small JSON response may be a few kilobytes, while one browser-rendered page can transfer several megabytes of images, fonts, scripts, and media. Measure a representative sample using the same client and asset-loading behavior as the real job.
