Refund Policy
Last updated: September 3, 2026
Proxy bandwidth is a consumable digital product. It is delivered to your account immediately after payment, and once it has been used it cannot be returned to us. This policy explains exactly when we will and will not issue a refund. It forms part of our Terms of Service.
1. We always refund failed delivery
If your payment succeeded but bandwidth was never provisioned to your account, you get a full refund. No time limit, no conditions.
Failed purchases are marked failed in your dashboard. If you see one, contact us and we will either provision the bandwidth you paid for or refund it in full — your choice.
2. Unused bandwidth
If you have not meaningfully used a purchase, you may request a full refund within seven (7) days of the purchase date.
“Not meaningfully used” means less than 100 MB of the purchased amount has been consumed, so you can test that the proxies work without forfeiting your right to a refund.
On refund, the corresponding bandwidth is removed from your account.
3. Used bandwidth is not refundable
Once more than 100 MB of a purchase has been consumed, that purchase is non-refundable. We have already paid our upstream provider for the traffic you sent, and it cannot be recovered.
We do not offer partial or pro-rata refunds on the unused remainder of a purchase you have started using.
4. Situations we do not refund
- Blocked or unreachable destinations. We sell access to a residential network. We cannot guarantee any particular website, service, or anti-bot system will permit your traffic, and we do not refund because a target site blocked you.
- Performance expectations. Published network figures describe the underlying pool and are not guarantees. Slower-than-hoped results are not grounds for a refund.
- Wrong purchase. Buying a larger package than you needed is not refundable once used beyond the 100 MB threshold.
- Termination for breach. Accounts suspended or terminated for breaching Section 3 of the Terms forfeit remaining bandwidth without refund.
- Credential exposure. Bandwidth consumed by someone who obtained your credentials is your responsibility. Contact us immediately and we will rotate them, but consumed traffic is not refundable.
5. How to request a refund
Email support@phantomproxies.org from the address on your account, including the purchase date and package. We aim to respond within two (2) business days.
Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method via Stripe. Your bank typically posts the funds within 5–10 business days.
6. Chargebacks
Please contact us before opening a chargeback. A dispute freezes the payment and prevents us from resolving the issue directly, and it usually takes far longer than an ordinary refund.
Accounts with an open chargeback may have proxy access suspended until it is resolved. Where a chargeback is filed on bandwidth that was demonstrably delivered and consumed, we will contest it with the provisioning and usage records associated with the account.
7. Statutory rights
This policy does not limit rights you have under applicable consumer law.
If you are a consumer in the UK or EEA, you normally have a 14-day right to withdraw from a distance purchase. Because bandwidth is digital content delivered immediately, by completing your purchase you request immediate delivery and acknowledge that you lose that right of withdrawal once delivery has begun. Where the right still applies, contact us and we will honour it.
